Overland

Overland - Community Service
New England, Southwest, Alaska/Hawaii, Central and South America

Service at Overland focuses on tangible, hands-on projects and active exploration: mentor a young reader, volunteer at a food bank, restore Alaskan trails. You'll work together with your Overland group (which has been carefully put together with no more than 12 students, a balance of boys and girls, a range of hometowns, and a limit on friend pairs to no more than two per group). And you'll be led by a pair of dynamic, capable Overland leaders. The goal? Have fun, make friends, be challenged in new ways and make a meaningful impact on the world around you. Trips are two weeks long and are offered to students in 7-12 grade depending on the program. Trips include such locations as: New England, the American Southwest, Costa Rica, Maine, Colorado, Alaska. All trips include a hiking component.
