Summer Discovery is a pre-college enrichment program for high school and middle school students that combine academics with fun, activities, and sports. Courses are taught by university faculty. Students experience college life while gaining independence, self-confidence, and social skills. For 53 years, we’ve helped more than 100,000 students learn and grow. We can't wait for you to join us. Summer Discovery provides scholarship assistance to students and their families through many different channels. Primarily, we partner with mentoring organizations to offer scholarships. Additionally, we offer 2 Merit Scholarships for partial tuition in the amount of $2,000 each for students with a minimum GPA of 3.6. The scholarship applications become available in January of each year for the upcoming summer, and are due by April 15. As our individual scholarships are limited and only fund partial tuition, we encourage you to reach out to your school counselor and community for academic fundraising and scholarship opportunities.
