Lovelane is a therapeutic horseback riding program that has a dramatic impact on the social, cognitive and physical development of children with an array of special needs. Therapeutic horseback riding combines occupational, physical, and/or speech therapy with the fun of riding a horse. Lovelane relies on over 130 volunteers weekly to assist with therapeutic riding session and the maintenance and operation of the riding facilities. Also, volunteers and parents of riders help organize and run several fund raising events each year to benefit Lovelane. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
