The Summer S&C Program is geared for the highly motivated and dedicated athlete who wants to improve their sports performance. This will be accomplished by working on a number of modalities. The Hang Clean will be taught so the athlete increases explosive power and also enhances intermuscular and intramuscular coordination. The Back Squat, Front Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift will also be taught to build the athlete’s strength levels. There will be a number of general weight lifting exercises used to increase muscular hypertrophy and nullify any muscular imbalances that may exist. Proper running and change of direction mechanics will be taught and implemented in a variety of drills to increase speed and agility. Conditioning drills will be performed to increase cardiovascular and VO2 max levels. Prehab and injury prevention exercises will be used to help avoid injuries specific to the athlete or their sport. Static stretching, dynamic stretching, and self myofascial release methods will be utilized to help improve mobility and flexibility. This program is offered on a weekly basis. No minimum required.
