HMS MEDscience offers an exciting and engaging hands-on experience for young, passionate minds with interest in sciences: biology, health care, medicine, or related STEM fields. No textbooks, no homework! Your classroom takes place in a simulation laboratory on the Harvard Medical School campus where you and your teammates learn to treat a high-tech “patient” with state-of-the art realistic and medically accurate features. The MEDscience instructional model has proven highly effective with multiple student learning styles. Choose between two innovative medical science curriculums (described below) - each fostering the critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills necessary for success in your future educational/career pathway. You will complete the program as a well-informed student leading a healthier personal life. Please join us! Donors have provided HMS MEDscience with some scholarships for Boston area residents. Students who need scholarship support should select that option in the “Tuition” section of the application. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of the application essays and teacher assessment.
