Biography:
Adam Balogh has coached the Nobles Boy Crew since 2018. Rowing at Nobles was first organized in 1897 and continues under Adam’s direction to be a popular and successful sport at the School. The Nobles Crew Team has a strong legacy of success. Recent team achievements include numerous victorious dual races against competing ISL schools, medal-winning performances at the NEIRA League Championships, and in 2021 the USRowing National Championship title. Beyond Nobles, Adam has coached crews in international competition at the 2018 World University Rowing Championships, 2019 World Rowing Championships, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Adam also coaches at the Cambridge Boat Club High-Performance Summer Program, with numerous gold medal finishes at Royal Canadian Henley Regatta. He is an instructor at the CRI Institute for Rowing Leadership, the first and only coaching program for rowing accredited by the United States Center for Coaching Education. Adam is a lifelong rowing enthusiast who has represented the USA at the Junior World Championships, was a three-year varsity letter winner and Captain of the University of Pennsylvania Heavyweight Crew, and a two-time silver medalist at the IRA National Championships.
