Biography:
Kimya has been at Nobles since 2010 and currently serves as College Counselor and Program Coordinator. In 2013, she and Colette Finley were the founding coaches of the Nobles volleyball program, and she has been with the team for nine of the past 10 seasons. Kimya played primarily as an outside hitter at Loomis Chaffee and Amherst College (2003, BA in Psychology), and has enjoyed local rec league play over the years. Her primary goals as a coach are to develop players who are not only committed to consistent execution of the fundamental elements of the game, but who exhibit character and integrity on and off the court, and to foster a fun and supportive playing experience for all members of the team.
