Biography:
Coaching experience: Coach Bryant is entering his 13th year as a coach at Nobles and his second as head coach of the boys varsity basketball program. Prior to joining the varsity staff last year, Coach Bryant led the boys junior varsity program where he focused on individual and team skill and development. Prior to Nobles, Coach Bryant began his coaching career as a head coach at the Holderness School (1996-1999) leading Holderness to a share of the Great Lakes league title and a berth in the Class C tournament. After Holderness, Coach Bryant coached at the Belmont Hill School (assistant, 1999-2001) and the Winsor School (2001-2002). At Winsor, he led the girls varsity team to a 2nd place finish in the EIL and was recognized as EIL Coach of the Year (2001-2002). Outside of Nobles, he has coached with various AAU programs (Boston Spartans and Dana Barros Basketball Club) and provides 1-on-1 instructional coaching to players at various levels. As the new varsity coach, Coach Bryant will look to instill the principles of brotherhood, selflessness and discipline in leading the Nobles basketball program.

Playing experience: Coach Bryant grew up in Boston, MA and played at Boston Latin Academy. As a senior, he averaged 24 points a game and was recognized as a Boston All-Star and Boston Celtics/Fox Massachusetts All-Scholastic player. In college, he was a four year member and two year starter on the Brown University Men’s Varsity Basketball Team. He earned several team awards over the course of his career: Stan Ward (1994); Robert Wyatt (1995); University of New Mexico Lobo Classic All Tournament Team (1995) and Woody Grimshaw Memorial (1996). Upon graduation, he turned down the opportunity to play professionally overseas and began his teaching/coaching career.
