Panos Voulgaris is entering his third year as head football coach at Nobles in 2020. In his first year, the team finished 8-1 and won a New England championship.  Coach Voulgaris came to Nobles after six years as head coach at Episcopal High School in Alexandria, Virginia. At Episcopal, he revamped the football program, leading the team to its first back-to-back Interstate Athletic Conference championships in over twenty years and its longest stretch of winning seasons in over fifty years. Prior to Episcopal, Coach Voulgaris served as head coach at the Taft School in Connecticut. At Taft, he inherited a moribund program that had lost 51 of its previous 56 games and quickly transformed the team into undefeated New England Champions for the first time in nearly thirty years. During his coaching career, Coach Voulgaris has helped guide his players to many top college programs including Notre Dame, Stanford, Michigan, Virginia, Northwestern, North Carolina, Navy, Wisconsin, Penn State, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, Holy Cross, Williams, Bowdoin, Wesleyan, and several others. A native of North Andover, Massachusetts, Coach Voulgaris currently teaches history and is serving as assistant director of admissions. He and his wife Shannon, also a devoted educator, live on campus with their sons James, George, and Charles. Please call Coach Voulgaris at 978-697-5581 or email him at Panos_Voulgaris@nobles.edu to learn more about the Nobles Football Program.
