Biography:

Coach Murray has been a part of the Nobles Football program for the past 11 years, serving as an assistant coach from 2011-2016 & 2018-2020, as well as the interim head coach in 2017. He played an integral part in building the 2018 team that went on to win the Class C NEPSAC Bowl, a last second 17-14 victory over Kingswood-Oxford. During his time at Nobles, (24) student-athletes have gone on to play college football at schools such as (Wisconsin, Boston College, Princeton, Yale, Penn, Brown, Middelbury, Wesleyan and Williams). Coach Murray has also lead our highly successful baseball program for the past 10 years. In both football and baseball, he has built a reputation for developing strong and positive relationships through a culture that leads to great success both on and off the field.

Playing Experience: During high school, Coach Murray was a three-sport varsity athlete (football, baseball and indoor track) at Weston High School He was a member of the 1991 State Championship team and coached by the legendary John DiBiaso. He continued playing baseball at Ithaca College for ABCA Hall of Fame coach George Valesente, where he was named team captain and MVP his senior year. After college, he went on to play two years of Independent Professional Baseball for the Richmond (IN) Roosters (Frontier League) and the Bangor (ME) Blue Ox (Northeast League).
