Coaching Philosophy: Coach Brodeur’s philosophy is based on striving for success. He believes in coaching the student-athletes to be their best mentally, physically, and spiritually, on and off the mat. Coach Brodeur believes wrestling can be used as a great tool to learn lessons to be successful in life. Through his coaching, he believes in developing the athletes to build their self-confidence while improving work ethic, discipline, respect, motivation, and character, all while having fun wrestling. Coaching Tenure: This will be Coach Brodeur’s first season working with the Nobles wrestling program. He will be in charge of the middle school program while assisting Coach Danhof and the rest of the staff with the upper school program. Outside of coaching wrestling, Coach Brodeur has over seven years of experience in strength and conditioning that includes work at The Micheli Center for Sports Injury Prevention, Harvard University, and Boston University. His coaching highlights include working with numerous elite athletes in college, Olympics, and professional sports. Experience: Coach Brodeur has over 10 years of experience as a wrestler. He was a 2x Massachusetts State wrestling champion while also breaking the state wins record with 230 victories. Coach Brodeur wrestled collegiately at Mercyhurst Northeast and Springfield College where he was a national qualifier and competed in three different weight classes (174, 184, 197).
